La Ronde turns green
As an amusement park, we believe that fun and commitment to the ecological transition can go hand in hand. We are aware of our responsibility to the planet and we invite you to participate formally.
The environment is at the center of our concerns. We have a person on the management team dedicated to ensuring the progress of our green shift and several employee committees are in place on this subject.
We are actively working to improve our practices, in order to make them more responsible and sustainable. We meticulously select our partners so that we all have the same objectives when it comes to the environment.

An inclusive work environment
La Ronde is proud of the diversity that enriches our teams. We advocate inclusion within our large family.
We are pleased to continue, season after season, to carry out La Ronde's mission, under the leadership of a Joint Management Committee and Ms. Emond, Executive Director of La Ronde since 2021.
Concrete actions for a healthier planet
Waste reduction
- Since 2022, several drinks at La Ronde have been served in the reusable 'Bring Me Back to La Ronde' glasses;
- Our condiments and utensils are available on request, to limit waste;
- We limit our waste related to our employees' uniforms as much as possible. End-of-life uniforms are turned into cleaning cloths and reused to their full capacity.
- We have stopped serving glass lids for our beverages. Since 2025, La Ronde has adopted a waste management plan.
- We have installed sorting islands throughout the park to facilitate more efficient sorting of the waste generated by our customers.
Elimination of single-use plastics
At La Ronde, we are aware of the ecological footprint of our activities. We are proud to have eliminated the presence of single-use plastics in the park: all cutlery, utensils, and straws served are made of compostable materials, in accordance with the city of Montreal's regulations.
New partnership with Goconsigne
Since the 2025 season, La Ronde has been associated with Goconsigne to facilitate consignment directly in the park. Every year, we distribute a significant quantity of returnable beverage containers, and we are proud to be able to ensure their recovery in a responsible manner.
In harmony with natural environments
In the green shift, together
Making efforts for our planet is good, but together, it's even better! That's why La Ronde encourages its visitors and employees to participate in its green shift, one gesture at a time.
With public transportation easily accessible around our park, we constantly encourage our visitors and employees to use public and active transportation to get to our park.
We are also developing several internal awareness campaigns with our employees to inform and raise awareness of our mission.
Heat Island Control and Shade Areas
To ensure the health and safety of our visitors and employees, La Ronde has set up new shaded rest areas throughout the park. These spaces improve the comfort and well-being of visitors, while providing them with places to cool off on hot days.
In addition, four queues were redesigned in 2025 to provide maximum shade and water drizzle for a more pleasant experience on hot days.

La Ronde turns to you in a formal manner
As an amusement park, we believe that fun and commitment to the ecological transition and community go hand in hand. We are proud to recognize our responsibility to the planet and our community and to actively work on a sustainability plan that guides our day-to-day operations.
Friends of La Ronde
La Ronde is committed to supporting non-profit organizations by contributing to their fundraising each year by offering donations of Day Tickets. More than 500 tickets are donated each year in support of fundraisers, organizations that provide direct assistance to sick children and various community service programs.
Each year, the park also offers 10,000 free tickets to the boroughs of Montreal, which distribute them to underprivileged communities.
Support for organizations
Inclusion and Diversityé
We believe that everyone has the right to have fun and to be able to have a good time at La Ronde. This is why we are actively working to improve the accessibility and well-being of our park's customers.
Each season, nearly 5000 Attraction Accessibility Certificates (AACs) are awarded to visitors with functional limitations to ensure a great visit adapted to their situation.
Varied meal options
La Ronde is aware that the ecological transition requires a change in our eating habits. That's why it offers more and more vegetarian and vegan options. This initiative allows a wider public to enjoy a meal adapted to their diet.

Concrete eco-responsible actions of L'International des Feux Loto-Québec
The International des Feux Loto-Québec is actively committed to adopting more eco-responsible practices to preserve our environment. Some of the initiatives include:
- Integration of five minutes of lasers into the pyromusical shows in collaboration with the firm Laser Quantum.
- Limitation of the maximum quantity of explosive materials per show.
- Restriction of the use of certain pyrotechnic products with a significant impact on emissions of fine particles and greenhouse gases.
- Replacement of plastic parts with recycled and biodegradable cardboard alternatives.
- Adaptation of the show's scenarios to promote an optimal dispersion of emissions.
- Promotion of the use of public transit and active means of transportation to attend fireworks shows.
- 97% local sourcing (Quebec) for on-site activities.
- Assessment of the ecological footprint generated by visitors and staff via a survey. Posters with QR codes will be available on the site to collect information on the means of transport used.
